FROM FAT TO FIT: WEEK 3Jul 31, 2017
I worked hard this week during my workouts. I stepped on the scale only to discover that the number had not budged at all. The reason was obvious to me. I am sad to report that I had a few slipups with my meal plan. I cheated with two scoops of strawberry-cheesecake ice cream, a handful of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, a six-inch sub from Subway and two alcoholic beverages during ladies’ night out over the weekend. I take full responsibility, but Mother Nature definitely played her part. During that time of the month, I always have intense cravings for junk food and my body seems to retain more water than usual.
I stepped on the scale today for my weekly weigh in. I was hoping the scale did not reveal my missteps this week. According to the number on the scale I did not lose any weight. Not even one single pound. I prefer to focus on the positive aspects of every situation, so on the flip side, it also meant that I did not gain any weight either. This upcoming week I am more determined than ever to get back on track. I have two more weeks remaining and I have to get my Curvy Girl Fitness plan back in full effect. So for my weight loss results: Week 1 (dropped 15 lbs.), Week 2 (dropped 0 lbs.).
The most important lesson I learned this week is “you cannot out work a bad diet.” Week 3 I’m coming back stronger and more determined to reinvent myself from the inside out.Back
