How to Lose 10 Pounds in 10 Days!

In preparation for my 2nd book launch, Sometimes the Breakup is the Blessing, I decided to detox my overindulged body and kick start my fitness journey. The motivation I had been missing came as I excitedly prepared for my book signing event. So with exactly 10 days until the event, these are the five steps I took to shed 10 unwanted pounds.

1. Drink 3 Smoothies

I drank smoothies for breakfast, lunch and dinner each day
The ingredients were kale, spinach, flax-seeds, frozen fruit, water and protein powder

2. Eat Healthy Snacks

My snacks were fruit, vegetables, unsalted nuts and boiled eggs each day
It is important to eat every 3 hours

3. Drink Water
I drank at least 60 ounces of water a day
The goal was one gallon a day

4. Drink Detox Tea
First thing in the morning have detox tea
I added apple cider vinegar and lemon juice to mine

5. One Mile a Day
To incorporate a little cardio, make sure you walk or run one mile a day

NOTE: Weigh yourself on Day 1 and then again on Day 10!
